It’s Oksana’s Laser Cut Fabrics

Oksana’s work is stunning! She’s in my dream journal to hopefully do laser cut treatments someday.
It’s Oksana did a wedding! We custom laser cut a backdrop for the beautiful couple, Madina and Dobromir. Designed by Bridget Crowe and Daniel Giroux.

Wood Blinds

Trend Watch: Wood blinds On the Curve: Peaking What I’m seeing: More options; bells and whistles like Shade Store’s new matte finishes and edges. I have to say. I do like them. Trendspotting- A new finish trend for window coverings? Last week I showed you the new matte finishes from Bradley Collection.
More wood blind action- this time Hartmann and Forbes with their Natural Woven Tapes woven traditional handlooms into 1-1/2″ widths, and then sewn onto the cotton ladder tape used to craft the blind. Benefits?
1. The loom-finished edge wove…n-to-size using a technique of looping weft fibers at each edge, then shuttling them back through the loom to create a continuous warp-edge finish.
2. Best-in-class, sustainable fibers
3. Coordinates with natural shade collection.

A Spectacular Showhouse

Urban Oasis

Today’s Window Dressings from HGTV’s Urban Oasis in Boston. What makes this work? The window itself placed in the interior to open up the room. Using a shoot of an iconic landmark and digitally printing. ( you know how I love digital printing!) and motorization. Nothing like gadget-i-zing a treatment.
